The third United Kingdom-Japan Platelet Conference (UKJPC) will be held in Singapore, in conjunction with the Asian Pacific Society for Thrombosis and Haemostasis (APSTH) meeting on September 17-18, 2008. The first two UKJPC meetings, Kyoto and Oxford, were particularly successful because they resulted in both international and interdisciplinary collaborative research. The members of the organizing committee would like to invite you to this one and a half day forum, which will be small enough to promote an informal, free exchange of ideas about platelet research and related fields between scientists from Asia, the Asia Pacific, and Europe. The scientific program will focus on the newest developments in our field in both basic and clinical research. All this interesting science with the added bonus of the fantastic atmosphere of multicultural Singapore! We look forward to seeing you there!
